Studienkolleg
What is Studienkolleg ?
Pre-University Preparation Program?
Studienkolleg in Germany is a preparatory course for international students whose high school diplomas are not equivalent to German university admission standards.
In Indonesia, 12 years of education is equivalent to 10 years in Germany (Realschule), requiring Indonesian students to attend Studienkolleg.
The program helps students meet academic and language requirements, acting as a bridge from the Indonesian to the German education system.
Graduating from Studienkolleg allows direct access to German universities and helps students adapt to the German education system and academic culture.
To join Studienkolleg, you must pass an entrance exam (Aufnahmeprüfung) and attend for one year (two semesters).
Studienkolleg offers two start periods:
Winter (September/October)
Summer (March/April)
