Working in Switzerland as a Young Professional
Since early 2022, Switzerland has partnered with several countries, including Indonesia, to offer a Trainee Program for Young Professionals. This program allows individuals from Indonesia to work in Switzerland for up to 18 months.
The purpose of this program, also known as the Weiterbildungsprogramm (advanced training program), is to deepen participants' professional expertise in the field studied during university.
During the training period, participants are not permitted to take on side jobs or part-time work.

In addition to on-the-job training, the program often includes courses or workshops to develop specific skills, such as leadership, time management, or technical competencies tailored to the industry.
